our braised birria brotha toastie was our 2025 entry into the great nz toastie takeover.  capers cafe + store were one of 208 entries last year, and made it into the top 10 after winning the people's choice award and making the top 10 in 2024.  needless to say - we know a good toastie when we taste one!
